Tech & Creativity

We’re Cinemataztic and we want to shape the future of cinema advertising by developing new creative and interactive advertising formats build on great technologies. We love movies, gaming and tech and we believe that advertising should be a fun and engaging part of the cinema experience that the audience love. Because what people love, matters….

Company Story

The first CineGame by Cinemataztic was played in a Danish cinema in September 2013. It was a Word Puzzle game for the Nestlé brand Dolce Gusto and as this new advertising format was so well received by both the audience and the advertiser, DRF/Nordic Film cinemas decided to keep the new interactive format on and it has been on since. In 2016 the internationalization of the Cinemataztic platform was initiated, as the Danish business case had proven the potential of the CineGame by adding almost 10% growth to advertising revenues. Since 2016 the Cinemataztic platform has been launched in additional six markets and more markets are planning to add the new digital revenue stream to their portfolio of cinema advertising products.

Who we are?

Based at the docks of Copenhagen, Cinemataztic is a mix of developers, designers, game geeks and advertising people with a passion for challenging existing was of doing things and creating new exiting innovations. We believe in New Native Advertising – where the ads engage the audience and become part of the experience. More than a decade ago cinemas around the World started the process of digitization, but beside from the projecting digital 1s & 0s instead of analogue 35mm, the digitization of the cinemas has not been leveraged into new cinema experiences and revenue generating products. We want to change that…
